After completing his military service with honors in the Israeli Air Force, Nir participated in a fellowship through the Jewish Agency and the Avi Chai Foundation. Upon returning to Israel in 2005, Nir was inspired to combine his interest in entrepreneurship and passion for hi-tech with his love of working with youth. Collaborating with colleagues, he established the Computers Youth Movement in Israel, which uses technological tools to bridge between youth and their communities. Additionally, he serves as a mentor for Israeli-based groups such as Young Entrepreneurs ("Yazamim Tzeirim") and Unistream.
